Known issues on the 1992 Sonoma. Three recalls touch this model year. Two involve fuel delivery parts supplied for service: a return line whose bleed valve was left out, and a replacement filter that seals poorly at its connection — either can weep fuel and, near an ignition source, start a fire. The third concerns four-wheel-drive trucks whose antilock brake system can be told the wrong drive mode, lengthening a stop without warning. Of 42 complaints, half name the service brakes, which is where this manual's hydraulic and antilock diagnostics earn their keep.
