The first covers certain aftermarket FRAM replacement fuel filters sold for use on these vehicles, whose connectors were not made to spec, so the O-ring may not seat correctly on the fuel line, allowing an inadequate seal that can lead to a fuel leak and, near an ignition source, a fire. The second covers the frontal air bag inflator: threaded inflator components damaged during assembly can separate when the inflator is signaled to deploy, letting hot combustion gases escape into the passenger compartment and injure occupants.
