Known issues on the 1987 E-250 Econoline Club Wagon. All five recalls on this wagon concern fuel: its lines, its tank venting and the pressure inside the system. One concerns a spring lock fuel line coupling that may not be properly engaged and can come apart under pressure and vibration. Another is a campaign on fuel expulsion caused by overpressurization. A third covers the front tank's vapor valve grommet, which can split under compressive load and leak. Owners have logged 15 complaints with NHTSA, clustering on the service brakes, the fuel system and speed control.
