1984 Buick LeSabre Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 1984 LeSabre. The 1984 LeSabre carries 2 recalls. In certain 1984 LeSabre vehicles with cruise control and certain gasoline and diesel engines, a nylon bushing at the cruise servo could slip, raising engine speed unexpectedly or keeping the engine running after shutoff; the servo rod could also snag and hold the throttle open. A second recall covered certain cars with a specific V8 fitment whose rubber fuel hose could seep fuel while running. Five owner complaints are recorded, 2 of them on the engine and engine cooling, and 2 complaints reported a fire.
