Known issues on the 1982 LeSabre. One recall is on the federal record for the 1982 LeSabre. It applied to certain 1982 LeSabre vehicles with a specific V8 fitment, where a retainer inside the injection pump governor could fail and let the throttle hang open, so the engine would neither slow back down nor shut off when the driver tried; dealers replaced the governor weight assembly.
