2026 Volkswagen Atlas Service and Repair Manual

For 2026, Volkswagen left its three-row Atlas largely alone ahead of the next-generation model, so the changes are in the details rather than the hardware. Five trims return: SE, SE with Technology, Peak Edition, SEL and SEL Premium R-Line, with the Peak Edition and the two SEL grades sold with 4Motion only. Power still comes from the 269 hp turbocharged 2.0L inline-four and an eight-speed automatic. Known issues on the 2026 Atlas. Two recalls are on federal record for the 2026 Atlas. The first covers incorrect wheel bolts that may have been installed at the factory and could let a wheel detach; owners were told not to drive until repaired. The second updates rearview camera software because a low-voltage electrical event can stop the display screen from showing the camera image. No owner complaints are listed yet.
