2024 Volkswagen Atlas Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 2024 Atlas. Federal records hold 8 recalls for the 2024 Atlas. Certain 2024 Atlas vehicles were recalled because the brake master cylinder might have been built with the wrong secondary piston spring retainer, which can block a fluid port and cut brake function. Another campaign, for certain vehicles, found that an engine cover might have been refitted poorly after service and could come loose, touch hot engine parts and melt, a fire risk. In a third, certain 2024 Atlas vehicles could suffer a low-voltage event that leaves the rearview camera image blank. Complaints number 169, chiefly electrical (43), service brakes (35) and engine (28); 6 reported a crash, 2 a fire and 7 an injury. Brake procedures and wiring diagrams are included.
