2022 Volkswagen Atlas Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 2022 Volkswagen Atlas sets out eight trims for the year: Comfortline, Execline, Highline, SE, SEL, SEL Premium R-Line, SEL R-Line and Trendline. Whichever badge it wears, the Atlas here is a 4-door sport utility with a gasoline engine carrying double overhead camshafts, either the turbocharged 2.0L inline-four of 121 cu in or the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 of 220 cu in. Known issues on the 2022 Atlas. NHTSA records 7 recalls for the 2022 Atlas. Certain 2022 Atlas vehicles were recalled because bolts on the rear trailing arm on the driver's side could be under-tightened, work loose and let the arm fracture. Certain vehicles were also recalled over connecting rod bearings that can be damaged, causing engine failure, a stall and possibly an oil leak and fire. In a third campaign, certain 2022 Atlas vehicles may have had trailer hitch bolts left too loose. Of 180 complaints, engine leads at 49, service brakes at 46 and electrical at 44; 3 reported a crash, 2 a fire and 2 an injury.
