Known issues on the 2019 Atlas. The 2019 Atlas carries 12 recalls on the federal record. In one, certain 2019 Atlas vehicles, 2 in total, were recalled because the driver's side impact air bag housing might lack a weld, so the bag could deploy wrongly or come loose. Another covered certain vehicles whose front door harness contacts can corrode and slow a side air bag. A third, for certain 2019 Atlas vehicles, updated tire pressure monitor software that could warn too slowly when the tires deflate together. Of 474 complaints, air bags lead with 140, then service brakes at 76 and electrical at 73; 7 reported a crash and 9 an injury.
