2026 Kia Sorento Service and Repair Manual

Largely a carryover year, the 2026 Sorento adds an EX all-wheel-drive gas model alongside the LX, S, SX and the X-Line and X-Pro variants, and keeps the naturally aspirated 2.5-liter, the 2.5-liter turbo, and the 1.6-liter turbocharged hybrid and plug-in hybrid. The plug-in's top version now wears X-Line styling. Since the same three-row body hides four distinct drivetrains, this service and repair manual follows the 2026 specification for each, with procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams, diagnostics and maintenance schedules.

Known issues on the 2026 Sorento. Two recalls are on federal record for this model year. Some vehicles left the factory with an incorrect spare wheel and tire that, once fitted, can impair the anti-lock braking and traction control systems; and a software error can make the instrument panel display fail, updated over the air or by a dealer. NHTSA lists no owner complaints so far. This manual gives the wheel, tire and ABS specifications and the cluster wiring diagrams relevant to both.
