Known issues on the 2025 Navigator. Six recalls are on federal record for the 2025 Navigator. The passenger air bag may have been manufactured incorrectly and deploy with excessive force. In two campaigns, the brake booster control module may malfunction while driving or during driver-assist use, causing a loss of power brake assist. The rear lightbar may crack and let moisture in, leaving reverse lights inoperative or flickering. Two more cover an integrated trailer module that can lose communication and drop trailer lights or brakes, and camera-module resets that remove the rearview image and driver aids. Owners have filed 12 complaints, touching service brakes, forward collision avoidance, the electrical system and other areas.
