Known issues on the 2016 Navigator. The federal record holds 4 recalls for the 2016 Navigator. On certain 2016 Navigator vehicles with the 3.5L EcoBoost engine, the brake master cylinder could let fluid seep from the front circuit into the booster, lengthening pedal travel and weakening front braking; dealers fitted a new master cylinder. Another campaign reached certain vehicles whose front blower motor, mounted behind the glove box, could fail and start a cabin fire. Owners filed 25 complaints, led by visibility with 7 and back over prevention with 5, and 1 complaint reported a fire.
