2020 BMW Z4 Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 2020 Z4. Six recalls sit on the federal record. One is a fuel tank whose halves were not welded together well enough, so the seam can fail and let fuel out where it can find an ignition source. Two involve the headlights: control units that can quit and leave one or both lamps dark, and lamps that can be aimed sideways into oncoming traffic. Another cuts braking assist at engine start, and another lets a corroded starter relay overheat. Five complaints are recorded, split across the electrical system, steering and structure.
