Known issues on the 2019 Yaris. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year, and two of them land on the same part of the car: the load-capacity label. Southeast Toyota Distributors recalled vehicles equipped with factory-installed floor mats because an incorrect label may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, and Gulf States Toyota recalled a separate group because a driver who cannot read the label may unknowingly overload the vehicle. The third is mechanical: an impeller within the low-pressure fuel pump may crack and deform, and a fuel pump failure may cause an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
