Known issues on the 2019 Sierra 3500 HD. Four of the seven recalls on this truck's federal record trace one roof-rail air bag defect, where an inflator end cap works loose or the inflator sidewall splits and compressed gas hurls the cap or metal fragments into the cabin. Two concern the optional engine block heater cord and terminals shorting and risking a fire. The remaining one covers a rear fuel tank that can collapse so the pump cannot feed the front tank, stalling the engine.
