2018 Ford Transit-250 Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 2018 Transit-250. Eight recalls are on the federal record, all of them from businesses that modify the van rather than from Ford. Most concern foldaway seats fitted by shuttle and van builders, where the back cushion can allow the seat back to move in a crash. One covers glass roof hatches that can shatter under temperature and vibration stress and drop fragments on passengers, and one covers a hybrid conversion driveshaft joint. Owners have filed 57 complaints with NHTSA; the power train heads the list at 12, followed by the structure at eight and the electrical system at seven.
