Known issues on the 2018 ATS. Two recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the fuel pump: it can detach from its mounting flange and damage the high pressure fuel line, creating a fuel leak and increasing the risk of a fire. The second covers the electric power steering assist system, which can fail and require greater steering effort, especially at low speeds, increasing the risk of a crash.
