Known issues on the 2014 ATS. Four recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the rear defogger's coil antenna module, which can generate excessive heat from repeated or continuous cycling, raising the risk of a fire. The second covers the sunroof switch: because it isn't recessed, it can be pressed inadvertently and close the roof panel unexpectedly, risking personal injury. The third covers the front seats, where an incomplete weld on the seat hook bracket assembly can let a seat come loose in a high-load event such as a crash. The fourth covers the automatic transmission shift cable, which can detach from its bracket so the indicated gear no longer matches the actual gear selected, and a vehicle left out of 'PARK' can roll away as occupants exit.
