Known issues on the 2017 A7 Quattro. Four recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the fuel rails, which may leak fuel and, in the presence of an ignition source, increase the risk of a fire. The second covers the Passenger Occupant Detection System sensor mat, where stress or wear can cause the module to malfunction so the front passenger air bag may not deploy properly in a crash. The third covers the air bag and seat belt pretensioner system, where air bags or pretensioners may not deploy or activate properly in a crash, raising the risk of injury. The fourth covers the head curtain air bags, which may not deploy properly in a crash and leave an unbelted passenger at greater risk of injury. Owners have filed 1 complaint for the year and no technical service bulletins are logged.
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Audi) is recalling certain 2016-2018 Q7, A6 and A7 vehicles, and 2015-2018 Audi A8 vehicles. The left and right fuel rails may leak fuel.
