Known issues on the 2013 A7 Quattro. Five recalls are on federal record for this model year. Two cover the front passenger seat's Passenger Occupant Detection System (PODS): a stressed or worn body-sensing mat in the seat can make the module malfunction, so the front passenger air bag may not deploy properly in a crash. Two more cover the fuel system: a compression point in the fuel line can weaken and leak fuel, and separately a fuel hose in the engine compartment can degrade and leak fuel, each raising the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source. The fifth covers the fuel injection system, where a leak at the fuel rail carries the same fire risk. Owners have filed 19 complaints for the year and no technical service bulletins are logged. The factory diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems are here.
From tracing a fuel line leak to inspecting the passenger seat's occupant-detection mat, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2013 A7 Quattro.
