Known issues on the 2013 A7 Quattro. Five recalls are on federal record for this model year. Two cover the front passenger seat's Passenger Occupant Detection System (PODS): a stressed or worn body-sensing mat in the seat can make the module malfunction, so the front passenger air bag may not deploy properly in a crash. Two more cover the fuel system: a compression point in the fuel line can weaken and leak fuel, and separately a fuel hose in the engine compartment can degrade and leak fuel, each raising the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source. The fifth covers the fuel injection system, where a leak at the fuel rail carries the same fire risk. Owners have filed 19 complaints for the year and no technical service bulletins are logged.
