Known issues on the 2015 A7 Quattro. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the auxiliary heater electrical connector, which may have been incorrectly inserted and can develop extra resistance, overheating the connector and increasing the risk of a fire. The second covers the Passenger Occupant Detection System: stress or wear of the body-sensing mat in the front seat can cause the module to malfunction, so the front passenger air bag may not deploy properly in a crash. The third covers the head curtain air bags, which may not deploy properly in a crash, leaving an unbelted passenger at greater risk of injury.
