Known issues on the 2013 ML350. The 2013 ML350 has four recalls on the federal record. A software fault in certain vehicles could set the emergency call system's clock wrong and pass along an inaccurate location, possibly delaying responders; an over-the-air or dealer update corrects it. On certain vehicles, water gathering beneath the spare tire could reach the fuel pump control unit and stall the engine while driving. Certain non-Base versions equipped with the Active Curve System could spill foaming oil from a low reservoir, creating a fire risk.
