Known issues on the 2010 ML350. NHTSA lists three recalls naming the 2010 ML350. In certain vehicles, the driver's frontal air bag inflator could rupture as the bag deployed and throw metal fragments toward the occupants; dealers replace the air bag module. The other two cover certain vehicles whose brake booster housing could take on moisture and corrode, cutting braking power or causing the brakes to fail, and owners were advised not to drive until the booster was inspected and, if needed, replaced. The 99 complaints about the 2010 ML350 concentrate on air bags (66), with seat belts and the electrical system at 10 each; 3 reported a crash, 2 a fire and 1 an injury.
