Known issues on the 2013 Grand Caravan. Three recalls are on record, two tied to air bag software. On certain vans built within a set production window, a software error could fire the side air bags on the side opposite the impact, and dealers reflashed the restraint control module. Certain vans from a very short build run had the wrong software loaded in that module, a recall covering 184 vehicles, and received a replacement module. The third, on certain vans built within another window, involved a vent window switch in the driver's armrest that could overheat.
