Known issues on the 2010 Tribute. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the fuel delivery module on 3.0L V6 models, which can crack and leak fuel, a serious fire risk in the presence of an ignition source. The second covers aftermarket front wheel bearings sold as replacement service parts with incorrect dimensions, which can adversely affect braking and steering and increase the risk of a crash. The third covers the electric power steering system, where the steering torque sensor may fail to properly detect driver input, causing the system to remove power steering assist and increasing the effort needed to steer at low speeds.
