Built around the 2010 Lexus ES 350 as Lexus configured it that year, this service and repair manual is tied to the 3.5L V6 (2GR-FE) and the trim listed below, so the clearances, torque values and service intervals you look up are the ones written for this car rather than figures carried over from an adjacent model year.

Known issues on the 2010 ES 350. Five recalls are on federal record for this model year. Four of them cover the passenger-side frontal air bag inflator module: an inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants, resulting in serious injury or death, and one of the four is written around an inflator rupture that may result in metal fragments striking the vehicle occupants, for the same outcome. One of those four reaches cars whose driver or passenger frontal inflators had already been replaced under a prior recall using inflators of the same design, which may themselves explode. The fifth recall covers the accelerator pedal under vehicle speed control: the pedal can get stuck in the wide open position due to being trapped by an unsecured or incompatible driver's floor mat, and a stuck open pedal may result in very high vehicle speeds and make the vehicle difficult to stop, which could cause a crash, serious injury or death. Owners have filed 178 complaints for the year, and no technical service bulletins are on record for it. The diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems are here.
From an air bag inflator job to a pedal and floor mat inspection or a scheduled service, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your 2010 ES 350.
