2000 Isuzu Trooper Service and Repair Manual

For 2000 Isuzu expanded the Trooper range again, bringing back S, LS and Limited trims and offering rear-wheel-drive versions for the first time. A new grille and taillights freshened the look, automatic climate control became standard, and the 3.5L DOHC V6 carried over. Known issues on the 2000 Trooper. Two recalls are on federal record. Both involve four-wheel-drive automatic models with Torque-On-Demand: one covers an interior fuel line and hose that can separate in some high-speed frontal crashes, and the other covers engine compartment components that can move in such crashes and create a risk of fuel leakage. NHTSA has also logged 49 owner complaints, most often about the engine and cooling system and the powertrain.
