1991 Isuzu Trooper Service and Repair Manual

The final year of the original Trooper was 1991, with the redesigned model following soon after. Four-door S, XS, LS and SE models carried either the 2.6L SOHC inline-four or the 2.8L OHV V6, with part-time four-wheel drive and a five-speed manual or automatic. Known issues on the 1991 Trooper. Three recalls are on federal record. They involve an oil cooler hose that can contact and melt on the exhaust manifold, excess automatic transmission oil that can bleed onto the exhaust manifold when hot, and a trailer hitch receiver weld that may break.
