Known issues on the 1995 900. Seven recalls name the 1995 900 on the federal record. One, reaching 20,476 vehicles, concerned certain cars whose air bag control unit could leak electrolyte from a capacitor; mixed with condensation from air conditioning use in humid weather, it could short the unit and fire the air bags and belt pretensioners unexpectedly. A new control unit was installed. Another, covering 5,383 vehicles, involved certain cars equipped with a Bosch Motronic 2 system, where a voltage dip at startup could make engine speed surge and risk unexpected movement; a revised module was fitted.
