1994 Chevrolet K3500 Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 1994 Chevrolet K3500 covers three engines across five body configurations and three trims. The engines are a turbocharged 6.5L diesel V8 of 395 cubic inches and naturally aspirated gasoline V8s of 454 and 350; the bodies include standard, extended and crew cab pickups plus cab and chassis in two- and four-door form; the trims are Base, Cheyenne and Silverado. That is a great deal of variation for one book, which is why the specifications are keyed to configuration throughout.

Known issues on the 1994 K3500. Neither a recall nor an owner complaint appears on the federal record for this model year. The manual is therefore best measured by the work it supports: diagnosing a rough-running gasoline V8 or a smoking diesel by the charts rather than by guesswork, setting cylinder head and bearing torque correctly on a rebuild, servicing the turbocharger and its plumbing, adjusting brakes to specification, and following a wiring diagram to the connector that is causing a fault.
