This factory service and repair manual for the 1994 Chevrolet Beretta drops the trim list to two, Base and Z26, while the engine bay still takes any of three naturally aspirated gasoline units: a 189-cubic-inch 3.1-liter pushrod V6, a 134-cubic-inch 2.2-liter pushrod four, or a 140-cubic-inch 2.3-liter four with twin overhead cams. One two-door coupe body carries all of them. The manual's engine sections therefore branch three ways, while brake, suspension, steering and body wiring coverage runs common to the whole model year.

Known issues on the 1994 Beretta. Two recalls are on the federal record, and both are structural. In the first, a weld in the front suspension support can fail and let the front of the control arm break away from it, so the wheel shifts well out of position and steering control goes with it. In the second, a reinforcement panel was omitted from the right-hand rocker, leaving occupants less protected in a side impact. Complaints total 108, led by 29 on the service brakes, 13 on the electrical system and 9 on the suspension.
