SECONDARY HOOD LATCH ASSEMBLY MAY NOT HAVE BEEN PROPERLY ADJUSTED RESULTING IN LATCH BECOMING BENT.
Consequence
A BENT SECONDARY HOOD LATCH COULD CAUSE THE PRIMARYLATCH TO MALFUNCTION. IF THIS OCCURED
Remedy
INSPECT AND REPLACE SECONDARY HOOD LATCH ASSEMBLIES AS REQUIRED.
A DOOR HINGE (UPPER OR LOWER) MAY BREAK WHILE OPENING OR CLOSING THE DOOR MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO REPOSITION AND CLOSE PROPERLY.
Consequence
HINGE SEPARATION MAY REDUCE THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OFTHE SIDE OF THE CAR AND INCREASE RI
Remedy
REPLACE DOOR HINGES ON BOTH DOORS.
SECONDARY HOOD LATCH MAY NOT PROPERLY ENGAGE DUE TO CONTACT WITH SUPPORT BRACKET AND/OR THE PRIMARY LATCH RETURN SPRING.
Remedy
INSTALL SECONDARY LATCH SKID PLATE ON CORSICA AND BERETTA MODELS. ALSO, INSTALL A REV

DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH DOWN A STREET IN A CONSTRUCTION ZONE, THE VEHICLE STRUCK A CURB, AND THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE BUCKET SEAT FELL BACKWARDS WITHOUT WARNING.
FAILURE OF THE DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER'S SIDE DOOR HINGE PIN, THE DOOR HINGE PIN IS BROKEN, CAUSING THE DOOR TO BE IN THE OPEN POSITION, THE DOOR WILL NOT FULLY CLOSE. *AK *JB
