The first covers the auxiliary engine oil cooler hose: if it contacts the A/C compressor clutch assembly, the hose can wear through and leak oil onto the hot exhaust system, creating a risk of an engine compartment fire. The second covers the throttle cable, which can become disengaged from its retaining bracket and interfere with the throttle cam mechanism, causing the throttle to stick open and produce unwanted acceleration.
