Known issues on the 1992 E-350 Econoline. Five recalls are on federal record. Two involve aftermarket corner and bumper lamp assemblies sold without the required amber side reflectors; one covers vehicles previously repaired with a speed control wiring harness of the wrong circuit polarity, which put the fuse in the output side rather than the power feed; another concerns fuel filler or vent hose damaged by a drill bit during assembly. Two hundred and seventy complaints are logged with NHTSA, spread fairly evenly across the service brakes, speed control and the engine and cooling system. Those three areas are where the manual's diagnostics and wiring diagrams see most use.
