Known issues on the 1991 K2500. Two recalls are on the federal record for the 1991 truck, both about replacement filters rather than original parts. One covers an oil filter that may not seal, letting the engine lose oil with fire the possible result; the other covers a fuel filter that can leave an inadequate seal at its connection so gasoline escapes toward an ignition source. Eight complaints are on record, led by two on the service brakes with structure and seat belts also appearing. Brake hydraulics, body structure and restraint hardware all have procedures and specifications here.
