2024 BMW X1 Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 2024 BMW X1 has three power units to document rather than two: a turbocharged 1.5L inline-three, the same 1.5L inline-three in plug-in hybrid form, and a turbocharged 2.0L inline-four of 122 cubic inches. All are twin-cam gasoline units, all fitted to one four-door sport utility body, and they spread across five trims — M35i xDrive, sDrive18i, sDrive20i, xDrive25e and xDrive28i. Known issues on the 2024 X1. Three recalls stand on the federal record, and all three point at the same hardware. The integrated brake system can malfunction and leave the driver without power assist while the antilock and dynamic stability control functions behave unpredictably, and one of the three traces that to welds breaking in the brake control module's servomotor, which also costs rear brake function.
