One recall is on federal record for this model year: a front-passenger occupant classification sensor in the air bag system, where an air bag that deploys unintentionally during a crash can increase the risk of injury. Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2020-2022 Pilot, Accord, Civic sedan, HR-V, Odyssey, 2020 Civic coupe, Fit, 2021-2022 Civic hatchback, 2021 Civic Type R, Insight, 2020-2021 CR-V, CR-V Hybrid, Passport, Ridgeline, Accord Hybrid, 2020 Acura MDX, 2022 Acura MDX, 2020-2022 Acura RDX, and 2020-2021 Acura TLX vehicles. The front passenger seat weight sensor may crack and short circuit, failing to suppress the air bag as intended.
An air bag that deploys unintentionally during a crash can increase the risk of injury.
Dealers will replace the seat weight sensors, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 28, 2024. This is a phased recall. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for these recalls are XHP and VHQ.

5 different occasions where the car enabled the emergency braking system for collision when there were no possibility of collision. I was driving down the freeway, heard a large boom & my sunroof shattered. There was no impact. Nothing thrown. It did this on its own.
We were driving our 2022 Acura RDX on the expressway when the we suddenly heard a very loud pop/explosion. A few moments later we could hear wind above our heads. We realized the sunroof had literally exploded and shattered. Neither me nor my passenger saw any road debris whatsoever and believe this simply happened without any warning or cause.

Vehicle has lost power and gone in to ‘limp mode’ numerous times when accelerating, reducing speed to 25-30 MPH. The engine runs extremely rough during this time and will not rev up. I woke up Sunday morning to find the rear window on my 2022 Acura RDX to be shattered. Nothing impacted the window to cause it to be shattered. My understanding is this is a known problem with this vehicle.
