Known issues on the 2021 GLE350. Engine trouble dominates the 52 complaints about the 2021 GLE350 at 25, with the electrical system at 11; 3 complaints reported a crash, 3 a fire and 2 an injury. Fourteen recalls cover this year. The front acceleration sensor harness on certain vehicles may have been routed wrongly, which could keep the front air bags from deploying as designed and put the car out of line with the federal occupant protection standard. Certain vehicles had a 12-volt ground connection beneath the driver's seat that could overheat because it was not properly secured.
