Known issues on the 2018 GLE350. Seven recalls name the 2018 GLE350. Certain vehicles equipped with Continental tires received tires that were cured too long at the factory, which could lead to a sidewall break, sudden air loss or tread separation. On certain vehicles the rear brake caliper pistons may have lacked proper coating, letting gas enter the rear brake circuit and weaken braking until dealers bled the system. Of 40 complaints, power train leads with 7; 5 reported a crash, 2 an injury and 1 a death. The 2018 GLE-Class line has one power train complaint. Brake bleeding and tire procedures are in the manual.
