Known issues on the 2017 GLE350. The federal record holds seven recalls for the 2017 GLE350. On certain vehicles, water collecting in the spare tire well could ruin the fuel pump control unit and stall the engine on the road; dealers added a drain plug and replaced the unit where needed. Certain others could show the driver-side rear passenger door as locked when it was not, so it might be opened by mistake.
