The first covers the rear seat belts: the automatic locking retractors can deactivate early, and an unsecured child restraint system can increase the risk of injury during a crash. The second covers the tires: rear axle misalignment left uninspected after an earlier recall repair may cause premature or uneven tire wear, increasing the risk of a crash. The third covers the tail light wiring, which can lack scuff protection so the wires become damaged in a rear crash, disabling the doors from being opened from the outside, causing a loss of hazard lights, and increasing the risk of injury. The fourth covers the rear suspension: a broken trailing arm lock nut may misalign the rear axle, causing a loss of control and increasing the risk of a crash. The fifth covers the back-over prevention display, where a software issue can leave the rearview camera screen blank, reducing the driver's rear visibility and increasing the risk of a crash.
