Known issues on the 2020 S7. Six recalls are on federal record for this model year. Rear axle misalignment left uninspected after an earlier repair can cause premature or uneven tire wear. A gateway control module can shut down after liquid spills in the rear seat, suddenly reducing engine power. A broken trailing arm lock nut can misalign the rear axle and cause loss of control. A sticking fuel level sender can display an inaccurate reading and lead to an engine stall from unexpected fuel exhaustion. An incorrectly manufactured passenger air bag score line may keep the bag from deploying properly and can eject debris into the cabin during a crash. A software error can also keep the rearview camera image from displaying, reducing visibility behind the vehicle. Consequence
