The first covers the front passenger occupant classification sensor: stress or wear on the seat's body-sensing mat can cause the PODS module to malfunction, so the front passenger air bag may not deploy properly in a crash. The second covers the tire information label, which lists an incorrect combined maximum weight, risking an overloaded vehicle if the owner loads to the printed figure. The third covers the fuel delivery lines: manufacturing tolerance issues can let a fuel line leak, which near an ignition source may result in a fire. The fourth covers the turbocharger, where a blocked oil supply strainer can starve the bearings, letting the turbine wheel contact its housing or the shaft break, causing an engine stall. Owners have filed 14 complaints for the year, and no technical service bulletins are logged.

Consequence
Worn bearings can cause the turbine wheel to contact the turbocharger housing or cause the shaft to break, causing an engine stall and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the oil strainer and perform an oil change, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 4, 2022. Owners may contact Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834. A
