One recall is on federal record for this model year, covering the Passenger Occupant Detection System: stress or wear on the body-sensing mat inside the front passenger seat can cause the PODS control module to malfunction, and if it does the front passenger air bag may not deploy properly in a crash, increasing the risk of injury. If the PODS module malfunctions, the front passenger air bag may not deploy properly in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy
