In certain 2019 Impreza vehicles that pump can quit, stalling the engine and, in one campaign, possibly leaving it unable to restart; the pump is replaced. On certain 2019 Impreza vehicles, the engine control module may keep powering an ignition coil after the engine is switched off, which can short the coil, blow a fuse and cause a stall.
