Known issues on the 2019 Challenger. The 2019 Challenger has 3 recalls on record. On certain 2019 Challenger vehicles, a mismatched front wheel and brake package could let the front tire rub the steering knuckle and damage the tire, which could then lose air suddenly; dealers fitted new wheels and checked the tires and alignment. Certain 2019 Challenger vehicles were also recalled because the instrument cluster might not light up driver warnings, and a cluster software update was the remedy. Owners recorded 59 complaints, with electrical system at 17 and wheels at 11. Of those complaints, 5 reported a crash, 3 a fire and 1 an injury.
