2016 GMC Acadia Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 2016 GMC Acadia lists six trims — Denali, SL, SLE, SLT, SLT1 and SLT2 — all built on the four-door sport utility body and all using the naturally aspirated 3.6L DOHC V6 of 217 cubic inches. Known issues on the 2016 Acadia. Four recalls appear on the federal record. A windshield wiper motor can overheat in use and raise the risk of a fire, and a third-row seat frame may have been welded in the wrong places, so the seat cannot do its job in a crash. The other two are restraint faults: curtain air bags that are not securely attached, and a driver's air bag inflator that can explode during deployment. Air bags dominate the 235 complaints with 129, ahead of steering at 26 and the electrical system at 21, putting the restraint and wiper circuits in the wiring diagrams to regular use.
