Known issues on the 2014 C300. Of the five recalls logged for the 2014 C300, two that are limited to 4MATIC versions involve air bags: certain cars could see the driver air bag deploy on its own until dealers added grounding to steering parts, and certain vehicles originally sold or ever registered in the Zone A states and territories, Florida, Texas and Hawaii among them, need a new passenger frontal air bag because its inflator could burst. A loose steering coupling bolt that could cost steering control prompted a recall on certain vehicles too. Owners reported 94 complaints, led by air bags (52), steering (13) and suspension (11), with 5 reporting a crash and 2 an injury.
