Known issues on the 2010 C300. The 2010 C300 has six recalls of its own in NHTSA's data. Certain vehicles built between January 26, 2007 and July 13, 2011 could develop a poor ground connection that dims the tail lights or makes them fail; dealers replace the bulb holders if not already updated, along with any corroded connectors. Certain cars originally sold or ever registered in the Zone A states and territories need a new passenger frontal air bag, since the inflator could rupture and hurl metal fragments. Separately, NHTSA filed one recall against the 2010 C-Class line. Owners submitted 446 complaints, with air bags at 200, the electrical system at 81 and steering at 69; 16 complaints reported a crash, 11 an injury and 5 a fire.
