Known issues on the 2011 C300. Six recalls are on record for the 2011 C300. On certain vehicles built from April 18 through July 12, 2011, a molding flaw in the fuel filter flange could let it crack in high heat and leak fuel, a fire risk near an ignition source; the fix is a new filter. Certain cars built between January 2007 and July 2011 may have dim or dead tail lights from a poor ground, and certain vehicles need a replacement driver's frontal air bag because its inflator could rupture.
